In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He [Jesus Christ -Yeshua]
was in the beginning with God.
HOW TO BE SAVED
Salvation is available to anyone who desires it. It is a gift from
God by His grace. The price of this gift was paid in full by the
crucifixion and resurrection of Jesus Christ, the Messiah, the Son of
God. We receive
this gift by faith. By faith, we believe in our hearts that Christ died for our sins, and that He was resurrected from
the grave and sits on the right hand of God the Father. The assurance of
our salvation comes from God Himself, not from a man-made tradition. God
assures us salvation by His Word.
The Gift (Romans 6:23) – For the wages of sin is death, but the gift
of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.
The Price (Colossians 1:22) – But now He has reconciled you by His
physical body through His death, to present you holy, faultless, and
blameless before Him.
Receiving the Gift by Faith (Acts 16:31) – Believe on the Lord Jesus,
and you will be saved.
Christ is the only way to salvation (John 14:6). There is no other
way to salvation because there is no other name under heaven given to
people by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). The Holy Spirit brings
conviction, which leads to repentance (John 16:8). In repentance, we
turn away from sin and turn toward God. Faith in Christ brings
salvation. And faith produces good works, which glorifies the Father.
If you have not accepted Christ as your Lord and Savior and the Holy Spirit is
tugging on your heart to do so, then salvation is as near as praying a sinner’s
prayer. God will always answer this prayer from a sincere heart. The following prayer is based on God’s Word in
Romans 3:23; 10: 9, 10,
13.
Dear Jesus: I am a sinner in need of forgiveness. I confess with my mouth
and believe with my heart that You are the Son of God who died on the
cross for my sins and that God raised You from the dead. Come into my
heart and be my personal Lord and Savior. I repent of my sins and will
follow You. I ask in Your name in faith believing, amen.
